The 41 Apache I rode on was well used but still a solid ride. I drove this Black 38 PP in different conditions and the boat just rode like a Cadillac. It was only a 525/XR boat and the original owner put over 400 hours/ 10,000 nautical miles on it before he sold it. It was maintained well but run very hard with no disappointments. Ran out the Palm Beach inlet WFO in 3 footers, no pulling back on the throttles and a rear passenger (who had never been on a fast boat) was temporarily wearing a tube top soon to be a "tube belt" with her tits flying. She was so scared she wouldn't let go of the seat and Oliver just left the throttles pegged as he laughed.
The boat ran low 80's all day long with 525's and 5 blade Maximus props. Best speed was 84 on the GPS if I recall correctly but boat originally had a genny, a/c etc.

OSO Steve was the 2nd owner and they went out in 6 foot seas to try to break something only to come in disappointed. I think they were betting if they could get the flat screen TV to fall off the wall (it didn't).

This is one man's opinion, right wrong or indifferent, everyone is entitled to a opinion. I agree with the exception of the 41 Apache and the 43 Nor-Tech. Both of these boats having the majority of Speedmaster drives..(Like mine) which are way different then bravo style boats. I would have owned a 38PP, but did not get along with Dan, for numerous reasons. If someone of quality would start building the 38 PP molds again, and I was willing to go down in size, the 38 PP would be the only other hull in the 37-40' I would consider. Jeff

The Apache had #5's and the NT's were both triple bravo boats with NT power just to clarify...... The NT's had the most amenities/ was most luxurious.

bravos on a 43 Nor-Tech are not a way to go..Way to heavy of a boat. The issue will always be on your mind when someone pulls along side of you on a PR and the conditions are less than favorable. That's where this 43 Nor-tech boat shines. There is a difference also in the NXT boats as well as the #6 boats. There are a few good boats out there, alot depends on set up..

This is 100% fact. BLee and I were both along for the ride. The roughest water I have EVER been in on a boat.

Calling it 6 footers with people on this board means 3 footers for real. So I guess I should say we were in 15's cause they were F'n huge. Couldn't see the beach or horizon between the waves.
