when i'm in the bar my boat always picks up 20mph or so but yea . . . .that may be stretching it a bit. :drink:

those are some pretty hefty lookin mills though:eek:

jimdarr40 11-21-2008 05:45 PM

I believe Terry's old 43 ran around 100mph with 900's, I would say 125-130mph would be in the ballpark.

bojoe2 11-21-2008 06:34 PM

They Must Of Had Tripple Digits Working Under That Hatch:party-smiley-004:

sabercatt 11-22-2008 01:33 AM

hmmm, so does that mean I'd have to rebuild them every 3-4 seconds of running?

searaycer 11-22-2008 09:00 AM

oh yeah all top fuel motors are 572 bbc based----not-- what an uniformed idiot, anybody that knows drag racing or motors knows that top fuel are limited to 500ci and are all hemi based, even the ford boss 500 fuel motor John Force is developing. I love it when you read ads like this just because it has PSI blowers, which are not even set backs like the pros use, it is a top fuel motor, ha ha ha, they may be powerful pieces but a top fuel engine makes the horse these will on two cylinders.

Shallow Minded 11-22-2008 09:03 AM

Wonder if the bimini top is rated for those speeds...:drink:

That is your boat dude!:evilb:

With a little negotiation he will do a diesel modification that will do 125!:ernaehrung004:

dmaxx3500 11-22-2008 07:42 PM

''john force'' could save loads of money if he built these bbc's instead of those crappy motors he uses now,,and since these are ''572bbc top fuel motors can this boat only be driven 1/4 mile at a time in a straight line and were are the parachutes????
