copying a prop

i have a 4 blade chopper style prop can anyone take a mould from it and make me one the same

cheers gerard

It's a little more complicated than that.

It certainly can be done but, the cost to do this is substantially greater than a stock cast propeller.

Not that I am aware of, why would you want that large of a diameter?

my max rpm is 3400 at the prop 440hp diesel fixed surfacedrive and a 2speed trannie currently running a 17x26 4 blade merc with tips rounded i also tried a 17x27 3 blade merc but that cut 10 mph off the speed altho the holeshot was better with the 3 blade but the 4 blade was 400rpm too big and the 3 blade also 200 rpm too big
my all in weight is 2.35 ton in a 26ft boat

julie any help would be great and maby we can do a deal for a prop

cheers gerard
