you can spend over $60k on motors and drives every year on that boat....

I think there are some definite deals out there for what your looking for. I think it will have to be an older model which will definitely need to have survey done for transom and stringer issues. A lot of guys are waiting for the market to turn and won't come off their price, but there are some out there tired of hanging on making that payment if there not paid for. Good luck in your search.

Re name that one high maintenance. Those drives were only rated for 700hp max by merc when they were new. Small shafts and hard to find parts for.

The engines are probably worth as much as he is asking for the boat though, so I don't see why yuo can't come out OK on it if it runs and is clean.

I might be interested in talking..have a new project and maybe time to move on for me..

You still have that boat? Havn't seen it lately.

If you want a boat that hauls azz, buy louie's. I think that thing will be over 100 with a little tuning. If not, turn up the boost a little bit and it will go way over 100.

I'm at the point where I'd probably let mine go for under 60K, and it does about 120 and is a 36' cat with low time on the engines. I had it listed on here for $79K a couple months ago.

Is it still listed?

No, I can send you info or I may just relist it but judging by your first comment you may not be interested as it has #4's on close to 800hp. I will have to argue with you though, I have NEVER had a single problem with a drive on my boat, EVER. Although pushing a 36' Cat is not as harsh as a 40' Fountain V. Plus for that price you could swith to big shafts or # 5's for cheap.
