Do yourself a favor and go buy this before they run out.

It's CEA-2006 compliant, my spec sheet had mine at 103 watts rms. Run four from the JL and then two on the RF.
Subs look into the http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1081250...nce-1250w.html real nice price and it's a good sub.
or if you want some serious bass.... go with the http://www.crutchfield.com/p_206812L...54.html?tp=111
I went with the Polk MM series since they are marine certified and it was buy one get one free.
And to answer your original question...yes you should be able to run the 8 speakers from the one amp, it should present a 2ohm load on the amp and the JL Audio Slash v2 Series can run fom 1.5 to a 4 ohm load. IF that is the same amp you have.

I run 8 6.5s cheapy sonys from a e4300. no problem. I have a 500/1 running a freeair 10" jl hoping to upgrade to 2. Not the greatest system ever, but it gets the job done, and has fairly good quality while running around with the exhaust open.

I did a seach and everyone on this web site recommends Jl audio. Ford and Garland are having a midnight sale this friday so I went down there and talked to them, They sell JL,Alpine and sony put was pushing me to buy kicker amps. Said JL speakers are the best but the amps are not any better for the price. Oh said there kicker 12inch square L5 will kick better than 2 JL 10 inch

I would get 2 10" free air JL subs or 2 10" Alpine free air subs unless you have the room to install boxed subs. There are endless options for boxed subs. I have the Alpines with about 250 watts RMS going to them and they sound very good and are half the price of the JL's.
BTW, if you are considering any new amps, the Alpine PDX's are excellent. Compact with a lower power draw and don't get as hot.

The amp will be able to drive all 8 speakers as long as teh amp is 2 ohm stable. You will need to install some type of crossovers or bass blockers in the speaker wires that run to the tweeters.

Both my PDX's are mounted vertically. I can't see why it would make a difference. They can probably only be mounted horizontally if you start stacking them, because the weight would pull the screws out.
I'll check my install instructions later and let you know what they say. I don't remeber seeing anything though.
