They are both great looking boats. I like the 4 bolster seats with the bench seat in the 47ft.

Bullhead, what kind of power is in your boat? I am guess ing the 47 has #6 drives. Or does the NXT also use that venilation tube?

They only run the #6's on the Fountains. They have had problems with the NXT drives and the Fountain hulls.

Beautiful boats. That 47 looks HUGE compared to the 42. What power in those....I see #6's so im guessing the 42 has 700's and the 47 has 1075's?

anyone know what speeds that 47 is seeing with the 1200 Sterlings? And next question...why didnt they put 1200 merc's in? custom order?

I met the owner of the 47 in keywest. He told me he went with the sterlings because he can easily up the HP if he wants...the 42 has 700's...best speed so far is 107.....not bad considering it has a generator and ac

The tubes are covered and rounded at the top...you would have to jump from an overpass to cause injury.

i was thinking the same thing. does the swim platform fold down the same way?

Looks like you could put some Bass boat swivel seats on those and do some fishing, or really give a thrill ride.:drink::drink:

All of the new Fountains with #6 drives come with Fountains custom made ventilation tubes. :cool-smiley-027:
