Default MTI out -turning the "big boats"- offshore video

Another from the AMF vid vault:

The old girl still has a race or two left in her. Make no mistake... an MTI will turn on a dime.

When I first saw the video I was thinking that looks like a big Champ boat (o/b race) making a corner. Wide open into the corner, trim down, turn left, trim up then exit corner. That is some serious driving skill!

That's awesome stuff Marc. Is that all rudder or are you adjusting throttles for more wheel speed on the SB and less on the Port?

All rudder, no feathering, The angle is tough to see the whole picture. The turn is similar to drifting a car you start well before the turn. Syncronising Scotty "setting" then "popping" the boat with rudder angle. In this case with both boats racing to the turn at speed it takes a bit before the rudder has an effect once it does the hull grabs and then it's counter steering and I hand it off to Scotty who if all is going correctly is all the way back in his compressor and on top again.
