Arkansas Role Call!!!
|
Oh man, this is gonna get good.
There's a handful of us on here. Marine clean is from your area. He's a pillow biter but still an ok guy. Cattitude boats on my home waters at Beaver Lake. He's a nerd but I tolerate him because he let's me ride in his boat and do his sister. There's a couple others that I can think of but you won't see much of them. None are as cool as me anyway. Welcome, Buck |
The only 2 are buck and his wife/cousin:drink:
|
Ignore Griff. His feelings have been hurt ever since I left the native lands that he still lives in.
I'll make it up to you and let you give me a ride in the AT next time I see ya Griff. ;) Buck |

Buck You should come to KC in January for the MWBP party. |
Don't all you Arkansas folk get together every year at the family reunion/Speed dating event? :evilb::party-smiley-004:
|
What lake do you fellows boat. Im going over to see friends in Hot Springs. Going to bring boat. Im in west Tn Thanks Bobby
|
Proud to be a Razorback even though I've lived in North Carolina since 1987.
Born and raised in Hot Springs and my grandparents had a house on Lake Hamilton and my dad had two house boats over the years up at Mountain Harbor on Lake Ouachita. My parents and two brothers still live there and we plan to take our boat back this next year and spend a week and let them get a taste of the performance boat world. The last time I was on Hamilton about three years ago there was a 50 foot Nortech on a lift! What’s up with that? Hey guys go ahead and make fun of Arkansas we are tough and can take it. Just remember that if you built a wall around every state that Arkansas is the ONLY state that can survive without the help of others. Arkansas has: Water Farm Land / Food Oil Natural Gas Minerals Caves Rivers Gold Diamonds Wet Stones Tyson Foods Dillard’s TCBY Walmart And most importantly “McClard’s Bar B Q” |
Hey Fountainman you have this thread going three different times. You probably need to delete the other two.

I was lucky to be able to get US Air super saver flights about twice a year for $99 bucks into the big airport direct from Charlotte. It looks like you are flying into a big cow farm when you are landing. Oh hey it is a big cow farm! |
Dont forget Bever lake. One of the nicest in this part of the world.
|
I live in Illinois, but own a lake house on Lake Norfork in Gamaliel (Near Mountain Home). Great area, but becoming the retirement area for the Chicagoans.

We mostly run Lake Ouachita, but sometimes we run Lake Hamilton. We are locals in Hot Springs and run these lakes the most. I started a forum for us Arkansas people that share the same passion as I do. Check it out...here's the web address www.hspowerboats.com For beer drinking and hanging out, Lake Hamilton is the one to run on, but alot of people are on that lake, not a lot of room to run your boat. Lake Ouachita is the cleanest lake, thats where we normally run. Plenty of room to run your boat, not many drunken idiots out there....not saying that they are anywhere else...hehehe. Donnie with Marine Clean is going to put on a Poker Run in 2009 at Lake Ouachita. Hope to see you there!
P.S. The Arkansas jokes are funny....keep them coming!!! There's nothing wrong with envy That's a neat area. I race just south of there near Bismarck. We've stopped at that restaurant on the water at Hwy 7 before. Cool deck overlooking the water. Is there any info online about the poker run? |
Ouachita is a nice lake. Drove around parts of it last year after going to the horse races. I should try to get the cig down sometime, although, have my own dock on Beaver. Heard there was a powerboat club on Ouachita..... many members??
Hey Buck, hadn't seen you on the water in a while, are you working on a boat yet? Can't wait for wamer weather! Winter sucks! |
InXS have you had the 42 on Bever for a few years? We talked a few years ago when we were over there with the baja. Hoping to take the T/S there this year.
