Check out these panels I made for my 28 velocity.Cut them out on my cnc machine out of billet aluminum. Made them look 3D, the tribal art is recessed and the V is popped up. Made the matching passenger side panel and a matching switch panel and engraved all the lettering.

Very Nice!

McGary911 12-28-2008 10:00 AM

Nice. Are they then powdercoated purple\clear? How many hours would you say went into the CAD\CAM work? Factor that in, and I'm betting you have some pretty expensive dash panels.

they look great.

kevinz99 12-28-2008 10:40 AM

Taped it off and left the top polished didnt clear it. took a few hours

t500hps 12-28-2008 10:46 AM

looks great, makes my recent dash project look pretty basic. A buddy has a 99 280 and asked me if I saw what you had created.....he really likes it!!

Nice try!!! But I don't think that's the same boat not even the same garage. If it is you need to take the (few) out of changes. Out of respect I do have to say Both panels on each boat blow away my stock dash on my formula.:ernaehrung004:

Wrong on both counts.. My shop is 8200 sq. ft. with 4 overhead doors the first pic is front of shop the second is in the back. The boat was painted over the winter by TAOD and windsheild replaced with windscreen. Here is a pic with the steering done before dash work.

Also doing some custom air ride/power seats

Ran-Dom 32 05-11-2009 02:13 PM

is that the seats Mike Mcleod is designing for you? very hi tech stuff, that should be the coolest little Donzi around

Sydwayz 05-11-2009 04:36 PM

Ridiculously sick!! Would you be interested in making more?

brian41 05-11-2009 05:59 PM

Yes Mcleod designed them we made some design changes and narrowed the bases to fit the Donzi floor, We are also replacing the up and down dovetails to linear bearings after the AOTH meet this coming weekend at Cumberland. We plan on making these in different size bases for use in all sit down style boats. The cushions and backrests will be ready tomorrow and I will post more pic's before we put them in the boat.

donzi looks sweet, I think you need some sick handles like these, they would look sweet on that boat.
