The 46 went to Europe for the first race of the Class One Series and was replaced in the middle of the season with the red 40 that was campainged and "Spirit of Norway" the season before.

Didn't remember that. Do you know why they shipped that thing to Europe only to replace it with an older model after such a short time and do you have pics of that 40 in Spirit of Norway colours?
Seems Rokke was very unlucky with his efforts in Europe as far as racing is concerned.

Xtreme Marine in Miami had the all white one 2 years ago and sold it to a guy that lives up north. I think Jersey. They were on the Key West last year.

That was #1 or #2 of the then 45 skaters, the boat was rolled early in the season and was replaced with the old red 40. There was no time to repair the 45/46 and the decision was made to air freight the older 40 to Europe.

I have a picture of it but I'm not getting any options to post the pic. I am not a paying member here, that might be why. I can e-mail it to you if you want.

Here is GFN:

@Dd24skater:
I have gone through my literature and I can't find any pics of a 46' Brooks Skater in '93. When the season kicked off at Marbella they already used the red 40 they used throughout the season even after the rollover at Malta? Looking forward to see your pics. Please send them to:

Thanks

A few years ago KR racing had a 46' Skater named Reverie....they ran it in the US once or twice and then took it to Europe. They race a race or two there with it and it did not handle well so they scrapped it. That boat is now in Australia racing. I don't remember them running a 46' in Europe in the early 90's......

Default Skater 45 In Europe

Reverie raced in Europe in 2002.
Brooke Shoes did race in Europe in 1993 in Marbella & Ischia according to reports,before switching to the 40ft.
Don`t worry Olli,I didn`t know that either until delving deeper into the archives.That`s the problem with boat names in results,you never can be sure when the owner has several boats,which one he ran.Just look at della valle.
