Boat Anchors
I have a 43 scarab thunder and am tired of lugging my anchor up to the bow to set it. Does any one know of a company that sells an in Bow anchor like the one used in the bow of a Fountain Express cruiser.
Thanks Rick G.

Box
I use the Box anchor as well. Both Boats have em
Never used a better anchor.
Like Elite says- no chain, folds up for storage, sets on anything.
- Sets in river current, on rocks, in weeds, in sand, needs little to no scope - not sure why- but it just seems to work.
Ive had em all danforth styles, mushrooms, v's all of em blew chunks and take up ridiculous space need chains, flip around etc.
I read a comparison once I think with a little digging around you can find it.

Curious-
Curious- when you say box and slide do you mean you have a shore spike, and a box anchor or something else?
Which size box anchor/spike? & How much?
Which situation would you say the fortress is a better call than the box/slide anchor?
I did a houseboat trip last year and that thing had 4 fortress anchors and we spent tons of time everytime we moved the boat trying to get those things to set.

Or Box Anchor!! No chain required so less weight and less chance of scratching the boat.
We carry them!! Most guys say go smaller than larger with these. they hold great.
