Yeah! whats the big deal .Who said you got to run alum heads with a blower.Alum heads just give you the chance of running a little more comp or boost.They get rid of the heat faster.I ran a blown flat bottom with iron heads. Everybody don't have the money for alum.Get a good set and go for it. JOHN

Oh really? How about 468CI, chevrolet, 650HP, 7lbs of boost. Stock chevy heads.

I am using the intercooler though.

Took some work, 1000 HP, 89 octane, Merlin heads, did it back in 93 or so. I'd have to look at the dyno sheets, but I think it was about 8 lbs. Lifters every 75 hours, springs & valves at 250. Still running at 400 plus when I pulled it apart.

I just bought a HTM 24 without engine ,I still have a Gen 6 502 BBC with Merlin VR steel heads with a B&M blower and intercooler ,my friend is going to dyno the engine to see what power it has ,but estimated 800 hp
