Those rubber blocks look good but you need a rigid surface to cut the high spots. I've tried them all and I always end up with a cheap ass Paint stick! The 5 gallon sticks at Porter Paints( I use the Sticky sandpaper in the 2" wide roll) are awesome. Always start with a course grade and work you're way to smooth. If you don't you just round off your high spots instaed of cutting them down.

Sanding blocks

Who would be interested in a bad azz product that would change the way your work looks??? Faster, smoother, no washboard look. Much to be desired. (the wife even gets these results)!!

DW uses lexan blocks, only way they will block a boat down.

We use a number of Systems ranging from Short and long Metal files to sanding battens of every material Plastic,Steel,Rubber or Cork faced wood. In My shop I had a sanding Machine built with a 5 horse gearmotor that would pull a 5 foot File. I used it on my large stuff.

Here is an old job we did this is just Duratec Primer.

I am meeting with a man that owns a chain of body shops next week to look at producing this new product . Will be available for you guys to try very soon.
I will let the cat out of the bag soon. Worth the wait!
