New Throttlebody for 500 and 525
#12
Thanks Dock my original plan was to have a whole new top with the throttle blades built right in the top to save on hatch height. After 25000.00 in Cad drawings and pattern making and the first one did not fit the manifold just right because the Cad drawing was not right and my freind that owned the foundry passed away I desided to make the throttle body for the top. It is cheaper and it works I am anodizing all of them blue to blend in a little.

Kinda cool but in no way "bolt on performance". You
will need to mill, drill, and tap your plenum along
with buying a new filter/spark arrestor. That will add
about what - 6 inches or more under the engine hatch.
Seems like a huge expense for 30 ponies. How many of
you guys have six inches to spare?

I will have some tops done already to exchange or just send your top to me and we will put it in the CNC machine and it will do it all in a couple minutes. The flame arrester is built in already and is not in the video but it goes under the top plate you can see in the video. The total height added is 2 3/4"'s. What is 30HP worth when it will give you 1 1/2 to 2 MPH ?? I am still putting the cost together to offer a package deal with manifold modifacations. And I will leave the question alone
