Close to half A million Bikers will be in town . Paul :ernaehrung004: |
That is great, thanks for the pics, I am so excited to be coming back to Florida for some boating.
I am still trying to get my bearings straight, if I put in on Saturday afternoon around 12-2 at Stan Blum launch ramp how far is Peanut Island from there and then to return to Harbortown Marina for the night? Would really like to meet some of you guys and hang out, if not come by the marina for a beer. I will bring some Poker Run t-shirts from our run for you guys. |

I am staying Saturday night at the Harbortown Marina that is 1 mile away from Stan Blum Launch in St Lucie County. Ft Pierce Inlet????
Help me out .......I am lost |
While it looks like your interest is in the east coast of Florida we just want you to know you would be most welcome to join us on Ft Myers Offshores ( FMO ) March 7th fun run. We are going to circumnavigate Sanibel and Captiva Islands and then have lunch at the Lighthouse restaurant at Port Sanibel marina.
Whatever you do, enjoy and have a safe holiday. :) Bob Check out the picture Gallery to get a bit of an idea what our runs are like http://www.ftmyersoffshore.org/ |
Ft. Pirece would be to far for a round trip. About 60 miles each way and there are a lot of idle zones in the ICW
|
Your about 3 hrs down on the inside, and like he said 60 miles if it's nice on the outside. Did the trip a couple of years ago and got to see Gieco running around when we were in West Palm.
Point of reference it takes about 2 1/2 hrs to tow to the Ft Myers side. There are some mighty nice people over there. Might make a nice first day for your trip. Or if your really adventuresome, Make the trip back around by boat. I could help with getting the trucks back around. Would be more fun than down and back, and not that much more gas. Mike |
Really??? You have my interest sparked... That sounds pretty fun.
