Going to Houston where are the boats?
I am taking a trip to Houston Texas next week and I have a free day. I am wondering where a good place would be to go see some powerboats. Any suggestions?

I was by his place earlier this or last week & he only had a boat or 2 there. Call before you go & if he is in town he will show you the boats he has. Most of the time he does not keep them out. His place is right on clear lake & you can see the boats down their. Need to go by the kema boardwalk & all the boats go thru the channel getting out to the bay from clear lake.
Need to go a little further south & see where American offshores are made. Board member fastcats is the one you need to talk to.

Stop at Select Boats on I-45 on your way to the Clear Lake area. They sell Cigarette, Sunsation, Scarab... You can't miss it - there's a Sunsation mounted up on the roof.
The Turtle Club on NASA Road 1 (right on Clear Lake) is a favorite hang-out and Kemah boardwalk is a great place to watch boats headed for the bay.

That's right. I forgot to mention Clear Lake Marine Center. Cruise through there and check out the pricey hardware hanging in the slings. There are a lot of NICE boats in that place.
