RIP Hotboat
Well it finally happened :(
The Website is gone now also. |
OMG... another one I just renewed with...
I feel like all I do is send out money for magazines that are not producing or going out of business. |

shame it was a good spot to read Brownies stories
|
Gary -
You ever get the boat? |
You can still read Brownie over at Performance Boats. As someone who's worked for a few different magazines, it's sad to me to see any of them go.
|
is the mag going under too or just the site I was going to renew.
|
r i p hot boat Brownies articles
Brownies stories need to have a place for us to continue to read his escapades in off shore racing history.
|
One of the reasons I subscribe to it was Brownie.
I know I have cut back on subscriptions to mags,I don't see many discounting rates either,Most everything is on the web.I see the mag biz still heading downward. |
I wonder what the tiemline is like for OSO

We do not have enough magazines to chose from already w/powerboating.
|
I've learned a lot from both Powerboat and Hot Boat mags. A shame to see HB go down. :(
|
Wow, I wonder how long before my 25 year old HB mags are worth trying to sell?
That's to bad. I feel like I grew up in boating with them. Started out leaarning about how to make my old Glastron Carlson jet faster with the jet tech articles. |
Do they still publish Poker runs America?
|
It's sad to see any business go under. Everytime I see a vacant building, going out of business sign, or hear stories like this I can't help putting myself in the owners position. It has to suck!
