That eBay seal boat looks like it was patched up on the sides with bondo!!! As far as i know when they de-commision the military boats they run a fork lift blades through the sides of the boats....

he has had that thing on and off ebay for at least 2 years. he was claiming it was built by fountain for a while too. And yes, the military turns those things into swiss chese before they are sold. keep an eye on this site if you really want one, they go for a couple hundred bucks when they pop up http://www.govliquidation.com/ right now you can get a lot of 4 17' boston whalers for $150 out of florida.. http://cgi.govliquidation.com/auctio...&convertTo=USD

those boats were built by UNITED STATES MARINE in new orleans la on bayou savage , i worked there back in the early 90's.
they have since relocated to MS since katrina totally wiped out the facility that was once a dry stack in the early 70's...

govliquidation is such a craps shoot. ive got some amazing deals and ive been phucked so hard my eye balls popped out! if i can offer any advice from WWW.govliquidation.com is be very very careful and make sure you see with your own eyes what you are bidding on because things have a way of changing... we have even spoke with several states attorney generals about the company and they warned us that the list of complaints is endless with govliquidation
