Large volume sea strainers, whos using what?
I need some new sea strainers. I need large volume with easy to remove lids. The ones i have in the Benz boat are a bit too small for the volume I need. Some of them are nearly impossible to get the lids off due to the design. What are the newest, best looking, best functioning out there??

I think the Rex Marine strainer is a pretty nice piece. You might need the SM if you want something larger. http://www.rexmar.com/page173.html

In the faster boats like yours, I use the Stainless Marine strainers. As someone mentioned, they have a 1" pressure relief on top, since the strainers see quite a bit of pressure at 150 mph. They are easy to open and are pretty big. Hope this helps, Eddie.
