Why are the scoops turned backwards??

When I ran that boat setting it up for Peter at Skater before it went to the Powerboat test in Sarasota with 1075 in it with 38 pitch props 70 to 120mph in under 7 seconds and it has bigger motors now !

Thanks. There is no doubt that it will accelerate like a bat out of hell. I just barely squeezed on it and it took off. This was just the first run. I was definitely not trying to ring its neck. Just wanted to get the feel for the boat and check everything. I wish I would have known it had 38's with the 1075's. I would have gotten bigger wheels. Do you happen to remember what rpm it turned the 38's? Is there anything special about the boat that you can remember? Thanks for any and all help, Eddie
