Man I love that boat, and what a killer deal.

I hope RPM moves plenty of these during these tough times as I don't think you can beat the deal.

Now if I could just figure out how to get that cat insurance....

It will run 90 with one person and fuel which is damn good for a 496, the boat weighs in @ 4000lb with that package...heck the 525 ran 90 with 3 grown men and gear fun fun fun...if you really want to go crazy thro a 572 5.0L whipple in it and do 140 not much of a change between 90 and 140mph the boat is stabil as hell also unlike any other cat if you can hang on to the wheel it will make the turn.

Different companies. These are molded off a CAD design, which are RPM's (this one's) own I believe.

Correct the molds, design and R&D all came from Revolution Performance Marine http://www.rpmpowerboats.com/Design.htm
The Co. that CPB is refering to was started after RPM and taking the name Redline over 2 years went into the development and design of this boat, this was not a boat the RPM just decided that, "hey lets make it like that one" The owner of RPM took everything that could have been done better on other boats, and put them into the design and features of the RPM not one corner is cut when building this boat, it is a true custom boat, how nice is it not to walk into a shop and say I like the way that one looks...you choose everything from design, colors, engine, outdrive and hardware. And from the 85,000 to the 150,000 dollar boat you get the same attention to detail, no corners cut or quality sacrificed a true custom boat...

Oh, and 26Redline here is not the owner or affiliated in any way like that as far as I know. He just bought one of the first ones and seems to be as thrilled with it as anyone could be.

I hope RPM and you both do very well, as it is about time the pricing on some of the midsized boats come back to reality.
