I must say that "I couldn't be more pleased" with the guys at Marine-Pro here in Columbia, SC. These guys specifically do fiberglass repair, it's what they do and they do a hell of a job. I have been amazed at not only the quality of work and professionalism but also in the timeline that they work on. These guys don't waste any time, that's for sure. I delivered the Talon to them about 10 days ago and for them to give me an estimate on repairing the transom, they started on it 3 days later.....7 days after that we are looking at this being finished. Not only do these guys know what they're doing, they don't let stuff sit around for any period of time "waiting" to be fixed. This was no easy job. The top cap of the boat had to be cut out to access the transom, which is enough to make you sick, however it looks like you will never be able to see that this repair ever took place. When someone in the marine industry does exceptional work, I think it's worth sharing. Hopefully this thread will prevent someone from going thru a horror story that we so commonly hear of happening. If you ever need any fiberglass work, gelcoat repair, any transom repair or replacement, these guys are the bomb. They are just northwest of Columbia, SC right off I-26 at the "Peak" exit 97 near Lake Murray. They are www.Marine-Pro.com on the net.
