Sunsation's New XRT and Hilltop Marine

Hilltop Marine was the first dealer to stock the all new 32' XRT. Hilltop took delivery of this hot new model at The Miami International Boat Show. Kyle Damron aka Hilltop Kyle showed up in Miami on Wednesday morning ready to sell and that he did. It only took Kyle and the Sunsation crew 3 days to move the first one. Everyone from Sunsation would like to congratulate Hilltop on their success with the XRT.
If you missed the XRT at the Miami show, no worries Hilltop has already placed an order for another one to have at their Bronson, KY showroom which is located in the Lake Cumberland area. |

Again, Congratulations to Hilltop Marine and Samuel Tacher in the purchase of the first 32 XRT! Samuel is from Venezula and he is eager to take this boat home to show off to his buddies!
Welcome to the Sunsation family Samuel! |
Congrats Sammy!!! You have one of the baddest boats around. Once the additions have been completed you will definitely have a "one of a kind"!!
Thanks to Joe and Brad for helping me put it all together and to Chris for helping make it all possible for me. I can't wait for our next one!!!! |
You guys are all cool and everything, but how about a couple of pics of the boat....

Nice to meet the whole bunch over there those are quite the boats they are building.
Love the cooler at the booth also! |
I'll no doubt get shot down in flames for this, but that is hideous. Although I quite like the lines of the boat, the detailing of the deck isn't to my tastes, but the dash is whats really bad.

Well you know what they say...
Selling 4-5 at the Miami show however proves the "you know what they say" saying correct! :drink: Not sure it'd be my taste but would like to see it in person, has seeing something in person has changed my taste buds before. |

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more. Just coz I don't like it doesn't make it wrong. I just sometimes feel that occasionally there's an element of "the kings new clothes" when a product has a real strong following. |
That boat is very impressive in person. The pics make the dash look very cluttered. In person it really is incredible!
Great job Sunsation and congrats on the sales. |

I had the same feeling for the XS2000, I've got 2 friends with them, and I have to say that the build quality is awful, but the ride is incredible. The ride etc is down to the great man himself, Fabio, whilst the build quality is unfortunately down to us brits!!!
The first generation XS's weren't actually built (hull & deck) by Sunseeker, as they outsourced the work to Fletchers, which is our equivalent to your Bayliner/Gastron/Larson etc. Having had a good look round one recently, I'm suprised, and shocked that although they use quite exotic materials, Kevlar, Arromat etc, they don't bond the hull to deck join! |

There is a strong following, the "I got your backside" family type following and that is a given. People can say what they want about the boats but the people behind them are always nothing but first class human beings first, that just happen to build some very good product. A nice change of pace considering some of the slime the marine buisness seems to attract at various times. Some times the good guys do come out on top in the end. |
In the dash pics it looks like it could be a bit of a stretch to climb up to the deck? Are there any steps?

I would like to thank everyone for your compliments and your constructive criticism. Without either Sunsation would not be where we are at today. We value every opinion/suggestion like they are our own. Looking forward to seeing everyone this year at upcoming poker runs and shows. Wishing you all a great year! |
Love the body lines, dash lines and paint scheme. Colors on dash is way to busy for my taste
|
Hey guys if we all had the same tastes we would all be marriend to the same woman. Now that is food for thought. Anyway, I digress. The Sunsation Gang has put together a one of a kind product and to us here at Hilltop Marine it is super impressive. Thanks guys and thank all of you who are taking the time to comment on the XRT.

Does it come with a Bat Cape?:evilb:
Sunsation group obviously does not sit around pumping out the same boat year after year! |
Can't get into the lines of the boat and the helm looks like an arcade.
|
Must be the Latino package :party-smiley-004:

Kyle, good to see you at the show buddy. I enjoyed my tour of the new Sunsation.
Once I sat at the helm and looked the dash over, things began to become a bit more clear. My first thought was holy **** that is a lot of stuff but it is really thoughtfully placed and there are lots of neat things going on there. My favorite part of the boat were the porthole windows. At first glance, I thought they were just part of the paint scheme. I did not notice the were acutally windows till Kyle pointed them out from inside. Very cool idea. I also really liked the custom cowlings on the 496's. Very cool and much better looking than the fugly new factory ones. I just love the fact Sunsation is working to push the envelope of design and not just resting on their past acomplishments. The boat is not for everyone but it is a great concept. I admit I was not always a fan of Sunsation but I have been sold. Now if I can just come up with the coin. Matt |
I'm diggin the passenger side grab handle (simple yet a lot more functional then your standard passenger side grab handle) along with the windscreen design over the center guages between the fairings. The more I look at it the more I like it.
I have a feeling they will be selling a lot of this model. |
Thanks for all the feedback. It's not gonna be for everyone but a lot of people really liked it. I will say that you can't base your opinion off the pics, I was a little skeptical until I saw it in person, it's incredible!!! Once you look it over for a few minutes it's really pretty simple there is just a lot of detail that makes it look really busy at a glance. In all reality when you are driving you are gonna be looking at the Vessel View screen 98% of the time. We've got another one coming.
Matt, it was great to see you! Hope you get on the water more this year. Congrats on the new addition to the family. |
nice I like it, what size is it a 32 or ? it must look real neat in person its got that bat boat look:ernaehrung004:, I also like the other one you guys did with the dash that opened up to go into the cabin. but I really like the sq back boats the most. sweet job Art
|
Chalk me up for one that likes it alot! :ernaehrung004:
