Some poeple abid by that rule. Personally, I keep an eye on the oil pressure guage, if its got good pressure, I keep the rpms down reasonably low. I have never had a problem running in a cam like that before. I did let the engines run in for quite a bit longer than the videos show.

Yes we did run them at an elevated rpm (1500-2500) for much longer then videos show.....
