Default 575sci's....complete overhaul.....DONE!!!

Just thought I would post a link to a few videos of both my 575sci's being started for the first time after a complete overhaul/rebuild......thanks to Vinny P. here on OSO. Project started at the end of the season and went pretty smooth untill we had to wait for new intakes manifolds from Weind. If anyone needs the specs on the rebuilds I am sure Vinny will add to this thread. Can't wait to get the Sonic out of storage and run these motors in the boat..........enjoy guys.....

After several discussions with RMBuilder, we ended up going with flat tappet cams, stock profile. I dont remember the exact #'s. I am sure John has the cam cards if you need exact specs. We wanted to go with upgrading the flat tappet cams to hydraulic roller, but RMBuilder was not 100% positive that the ECUs would not need to be remapped. It seems that closest he could get a roller cam grind would be slightly different than the original flat tappet. The concern was that the vacuum signal may be slightly off at some point during the rpm range. Not wanting to risk an engine burn down, we went with the best Crane core we could get and Crower lifters.
