hi guys, i own the one that was racing with OPA/sbi this year.
the best i saw was 138 when we first got it in the water with no real setup time. all the setup work i did was to run P1, so thats all about accelleration and turn speed.
the boat had a set of pump gas 700 hp drysump BBC's.
you would have trouble fitting big blower motors (psi or something with a intercooler) in there, w/o hatch modifying. a whipple with fuel injection might work.
speed wise ?? we where down to about 4% prop slip. but everything i was running was real small pitch, 1.68 gear and turning 7200 + rpms. 1200 hp - 170??
i had a 32 b model skater and this boat runs better that the skater.
heres a video clip of us at OPA- patchague, ny
