Thanks Splitdecision, that boat is SPOTLESS but I am really looking for the outlaw.

Mr. Boat, I am not a fan of the mid cabins, but thank you.

Phantom? Would have to sell with mild power to get closer to your price range.

The Phantom is a nice boat, but way out of my price range. I am really liking the 27ft Fountain as well but would have to go slightly older to stay a little above my price range.

I will definitely get a survey done. I think it is required most times now with the loan application.

The boat I am looking for is a 2000-2004 25ft Baja Outlaw with a 496 MAG or HO. It appears to be a good entry boat in my price range. I looked at a 1999 26 Donzi zx but it was pretty beat up.
Your welcome.

Talking

Chris, owner of Sterndrive Specialist has always been honest and a stand up guy. I had some drives worked on, some drives bought from him and also got some solid advise. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him. Good luck. Spend a little more and buy my cigarette.

The individual selling the boat appears to be Mark at Stern Drive Specialist. I have read some older posts here about the good repair work from Chris and was wondering if anyone has bought a boat from them? They are not registered with the BBB and I did find a couple of posts online saying they were scammed and recommended staying away from purchasing a boat. I just wanted to check with everyone here since some of the prices seem to good to be true. Thank you.
I've done business with Stern Drive Spec. several times over the years. Owner Chris Martin is a stand up guy. What boat at Sterndrive are you considering?
