"There is currently a standing offer on this boat of 290,000". And now it's for sale for 275? I'm thinking that standing offer, isn't in good standing, huh?

Big money to operate, and the guys that would buy this boat would understand the 100K + a year operating expense. Untill the economy turns around, most people are keeping their cash in the bank.

maybe Glenn & Rudy @ ICE INJECTION will jump on it ..

Thanks for thinking of us Bill ,that is one beautiful rig but I have to agree with Rudy, way to much boat for our 50 to 100 mile Cheapskate Bay adventures.

We want to keep the weight down and the beam in the 11' range to fit my current high lift.

Hate to see this happen to people, it's a shame to have to give that boat away, what a deal !

Wink Show Me Da Money!!

Are'nt to many big boat boaters with the cash flow and disposable cash postions in todays market to equal what Herbst organization was using back when they got into this sport with this boat. Might be awhile before any more emerge, so even though from cost standpoint or replacement cost standpoint this is a smok'in deal, it may sit for awhile!

Default Low water mark $$$

I think this shows how hard it is to move a specialty boat. Would it sell easier if it were a similar 40? I think so. It is near parts cost and know one is snapping it up. A 46 does not work for me size wise but what a buy when compared to others for sale.

The other factor is the strong USD is killing it for overseas buyers this time last year this boat would have been $275k AUD now it's $436k AUD due solely to the exchange rate... an Extra 160k is alot of cash to make up on the exchange rate alone.

I was seriously interested in sending them an offer of 250K until I read this and then made a few phone calls and asked if it could be true. The answer I got was 50-100K per year not including the fact that my F350 isn't capable of hauling it. I can afford to buy it, but I in no way can afford to own it. Back to shopping for my 525 36 Nor Tech with #6's or asd's.
