Default Boat storage near Potomac

I think I'm gonna loose the place that I store my boat near my house. So I figured I'd start looking for a new facility before it becomes an immediate problem. Does anybody have any suggestions or a good facility? Some place professional and responsible. I dont want to have to worry about damage or theft. I'm preferably looking on the VA side from DC south. Any suggestions? thanks

What are you looking for? A slip in the water? A lift slip? A Boatel?

http://www.hopespringsmarina.com/ in Aquia is a really nice marina.

http://www.occoquanharbourmarina.com/images/index.html is not bad either, but is a little small. They only have slips and a few lifts, and they always have a waiting list. Ask for Stephanie if you call.

T&T would be my suggestion too. There's also Prince William Marine, Hoffmaster's, and a few others in the Occoquan but that no wake zone is a PIA.

T&T is expensive but you will get great service and attention. Their the only true indoor boatel I know of other that down at Hope Springs(Stafford).

What size of boat is the most important question. I used to keep my 223 Formula and then a 31 Cigarette at Pohick Bay state park on the trailer. It was cheap and in a fenced in yard w/ barbed wire around the top. I never had a problem with anyone messing with it. 31 feet was about as big as they would allow. I can't remember exactly how much it was, but it was cheap!!! Like $600 a year or something like that. The storage yard is maybe a quarter of a mile away from the ramp. The only drawback is that, unless you are staying out all night, you MUST be in by dark!!! They had a placard that we used to put in the windsheild of the tow vehicle if we were going to gone overnight. If you weren't back by dark, they would send the PoPo out to look for you.

Dave I believe the rule for Prince William Marine is if you don't buy here you DON"T store here. We all know he is not hurting for money. Thats why I just left that one out.
