Looking for a new boat.
I am looking to uprade from my old money pit to a new faster good looking boat.
I want speed and a wave crusher.
Thinking about the 29 or 30 outlaw 2000-04.
Also thinking of a fountain but, i think I can't fit it in the budget.
The time to steal a boat is now. looking at repo's
I have a 87 baja 25 454 trs. loads of fun.
not new or fast (60 gps) enough.
Looking for good advice on getting a great boat and great deal, that I can use for many years without wanting more.
Thanks

It might be possible to find a 29 Outlaw for under 40k. Probably won't be in the best condition. There are a lot of boats out there for sale. You should be able to find something decent in your budget/size range.

I looked at a 29 outlaw in person that photographed nicely like the repo, asking $55, and was truly a piece. Had been left in water for a number of seasons and needed a lot of work. Setting your price expectations and budget based on a couple of outlier listings is not going to be realistic. I can also guarantee that you will not find any 30OL in that range that floats and/or runs.
If you want to lock in at $30 and lower you are definitely looking at boats older than 2000.

Theres some deals out there, more so it seems on the bigger boats. If your trying to get in the price range your looking for on a repo, better add another 10 - 15K to you budget for the unknown over the next year. The repair bill on twins can add up quick.
