Best polish I have found is Auto Wenol. It comes in a small blue tube, and I've usually found it at specialty car/cycle shops.
Leverage is pretty good. Flitz is also pretty good. Once you are done getting the really nasty stuff off, a nice light go-over with Never Dull makes them really sparkle. |
I like leverage BUT the very best I have seen is sold in a glass jar at the I-75 Chrome shop at I-75 at the end of the FL turn pike hwy 44 interchange 352-748-0330 the metal polishers there blend it . its what they use all day long on all the trucks and trailers the polish my stainles also I see offshore boats in there all the time

Tomtbone...Speedy is also a good product.. What we have done recently with all of our Leverage formula's is made them eco friendly..Go Green..There is NO acid or petroleum distillates in any of our product's. This is what I have been using on my headers at the beginning of the year, and then I occasionally use the polish as a quick touch up. I dont know if the pic will help you see what Im talking about..the price is 15.82 including shipping for just the metal serum. We have also put together some packages with our soap and salt deposit remover or metal serum, vinyl/leather cleaner and conditioner..with applicator, our legendary Polish and 5 terry cloth towels, all for around approx. 59.00 shipped to you're door. Call me anytime if you ever have any questions..Thanks Jeff

Get that powerball that goes on a drill. It is perfect. A little messy but works great and gets about 90% of the headers, the rest you do with a rag or microfiber.

My wife. Nothing's better. As long as she's obsessed about it, she can buy whatever she likes. This was with Autosol.
|
you can also wetsand 1500 any small nicks .. it takes some work i have spent hours on headers.. you will need a high speed buffer to buff the sanded areas..
|
I agree that the Mother's works great and you can get it any local Auto Zone, etc.
