Default Trinidad coast guard boats

These are drug interdiction/patrol boats being performance tested by the new owners from Trinidad. They are getting eight 318CC's with twin 300 Verados and four 388CC's with trip 300 Verados. (edgewater)All are equipped with ppi/seaspension drop-out bolster suspension seating, helmet intercom systems, helicopter lifting systems, gun racks and other custom features.

Each one had to meet a performance specification and the pictures are from some of that testing.

Enjoy!

those are very cool, now if you have new bolsters can you order the stands to fit??? I forget and since I may have more time on my hands what was the price for 2 for drop outs just stands.

It depends on what type of bolster you have and if its wide enough for the new legs. If a frame cant fit under it we can outfit it with our new mitigator foam. this alone will reduce body shock by 50% or more. send me a picture of your seat to [email protected]... thanks

GREAT SEAT !!!

PPI ROCKS !!!!
By all the test results its a huge difference. It has shown up to 78% less body vibration/ body shock then the standard seat. What hurts the body is the compression of the spin when you land back down in the seat. Think of it as a car accident there are three collisions happening. 1. Is the car impacting the other object and coming to a stop, 2. Is your body making contact with your car and coming to a stop, 3. Is your internal organs hitting your body then coming to a stop. What the mitigator does is it works like a cushion or a brake if you will, to slow and disapate the energy of your collision. So instead of wrecking your car at 50 mph it slowed you to 13mph. Long story short its awesome stuff.
