Anyone in the Caledonia, MI area know this boat?

The Admiral was out surfing boattraderonline (did I tell you how much I love that woman?) and found a 1994 Checkmate 253, HP500

, trailer, etc. Looks clean from the pics on the site, and the price is reasonable.

Boat is in Caledonia, MI. Any know this boat? Here's the link:

I saw this boat also. I definitely look closely at the motor with 400 hrs on it. It may be tired and in need of an overhaul. Just a thought.

Thats allot of money for that boat. My friend sold his 95' pursuader 257-3? for 26k with trailer, 330, killer stereo, trailer, mint with 220 hrs. That boat even with a 500 isn't worth that. And it will be tired with 400 hrs, I had that motor in my Baja.

I did a bit more checking (no pun intended...) after I posted the original msg, and it seems you guys were right, that is a lot of cabbage for that boat. There are a number of 97/98's for less dinero, and I was a little worried about a 500 with over 400 hrs (and if the ad says "400", I'm guessing the real number is higher).
