Did you know this?

What I see out of some people on the water around here I think they need to take a course.

I remember hearing that this was being considered...or that it had passed. Quite honestly, I'm fine with it, too many rookie's on the water and maybe this will help a little!!!

HighPriority 03-06-2009 07:25 PM

I'am sure it will not hurt.

Ya know its a bunch of bullchit, but after avoiding accident after accident every year, it may be nice to go boating and not worry about a MORON hitting you. The problem really is uneducated people break laws, because they don't know them. And about 10% people break laws because they don't give a chit.:ernaehrung004:

i hate to tell you guys this, but we've had a boater's safety education law on the books here in MD for about 20 years. It really doesn't do much good.

Until they move to a system that is more like a an automobile drivers license, expect to see no change in the number of knuckleheads on the water.

I was going to say - I doubt it is very strenuous to pass. Looks like i have a few years until I have to worry about it.
