need help to find right supercharger kit
 
hello i have a chevy 454 bigblock 1993 mod. and i need some more bhp out off it. i have the engine in a 32 cigarette chris craft, and its a bit underpowerd. so the question is, do some off you know about a good complete supercharger kit for that engine ?

It looks rough on the outside, is that an original 1993 engine? If it is as it looks, supercharging that engine without a complete tear-down/re-build will kill it in no time.......You'd be better off build a 496 out of that engine for around the same cost as buying and bolting on a supercharger.

I agree if you're going to do that at least go through the whole thing with bearings and rings and so forth and put an
8-71 on it with 3-4 lbs of boost!!!!!

it is just the paint on the outside :). we norwegians dont do so much crome ass you people ;) hehe. to ekspensive hehe. but the engine had a full overhaul last year :)

"you people"... :eek: LOL, just kidding.
If the internals have all been done recently then you have several options.....none of which I am qualified to recommend :). I bought a boat 2 years ago with Prochargers and quickly removed them and built bigger cubic inch motors and sold the blowers. Good Luck with the project....post some reports as it comes along!!!

Compresion ratio?
 
When the engine was rebuilt last year what did you do? I can get you a bolt on kit and ship it directly to you and I will be on the phone if you have questions when installing it. We should start with your current engine specs so I can get you going the right direction.
