It looks rough on the outside, is that an original 1993 engine? If it is as it looks, supercharging that engine without a complete tear-down/re-build will kill it in no time.......You'd be better off build a 496 out of that engine for around the same cost as buying and bolting on a supercharger.

I agree if you're going to do that at least go through the whole thing with bearings and rings and so forth and put an
8-71 on it with 3-4 lbs of boost!!!!! |

it is just the paint on the outside :). we norwegians dont do so much crome ass you people ;) hehe. to ekspensive hehe. but the engine had a full overhaul last year :)
If the internals have all been done recently then you have several options.....none of which I am qualified to recommend :). I bought a boat 2 years ago with Prochargers and quickly removed them and built bigger cubic inch motors and sold the blowers. Good Luck with the project....post some reports as it comes along!!! |
Compresion ratio?
When the engine was rebuilt last year what did you do? I can get you a bolt on kit and ship it directly to you and I will be on the phone if you have questions when installing it. We should start with your current engine specs so I can get you going the right direction.
