Geeiiissssh... Raped Ape.. nothing.. Rough ride. Few broken boats. Charlie McCarthy,... original designer and founder of Banana racing boats. Avanti hull,,, decendent of the 34 footer. Charlie came with me on the Poker run. It was a bit "bumpy" but the Avanti held her own. We all had a great time and it was nice to see Charlie taking the helm for a while of his legendary design. Some more info and history here. (Not the CC's) but I think the CC's built in Miami and/or Egg Harbour are similar huls.
