what spark plugs to run??
 

what plugs do you guys run in your 496 mags?

NGK, AC delco, Champion?

i run NGK in my race car and corvette but not sure what you guys see to be working the best in the boat world

496 plugs are about $12 each from what I recall. You really don't need to change them until probably 300+ hrs. I just changed mine in my 2000 502mpi's last year(320hrs) and they looked to be original from the black paint on them.

i have 280+ hours on ine, and a very slight skip. im thinking a set of plugs will fix it right up. what NGK's go in the 496 mag?

I wouldn't run champions in my lawn mower!

I thought that was the ONLY place for them.

But what happens when your wife tries to start the mower and it wont start???? You lose boating time getting the dam mower to run!:evilb:

AC Delco 41-983 are stock. About 6$ apiece from Summit Racing. From Merc they are ~$18.

use ac delco,,,only,,, any auto store can get them
