Thumbs up Who was at Lake Lanier on Sunday?

I was out at Lake Lanier in GA on Sunday with the family and saw some really neat and exciting rides.

I saw:

A Cat that was all white racing a deep V something. The V had P something something written on the side. My 4 year old boy said, "Daddy, let's get one of those!!!!!!!!!".

A Fountain driven by a sole guy. Man, the stern sits low in the water.

A 25/27 Baja with teal lettering on the side.

I was just curious if the owners of those rides were on an OSO member.

THanks

I saw the PropCo boat this morning being pulled by a black truck. Anyone knows whose boat this is?

I would have been there but I had my butt in the bilge all weekend getting it ready. Lucky you.

Started that way Sunday, but it looked so overcast that I did Oconee instead.

The Propco Boat is owned by David Carruth, and is racing APBA F1 this year I believe...

Wasn't there Sun, but was on Sat. Keys Disease until the 41 is back at full speed. Cocktail cove on Sat. weather permitting
The cat was probably Garth in his 36 Skater w/600's that runs around 115 . Call me on the VHF sometime.

Thanks for the reply. The Cat was really cool to watch run. We saw him get some nice air over some large waves.

Dreamweaver, I am going to come out to Allatoona sometime this summer. I've never been, thought I would give it a try.

Medicine Man, I think it is suppose to be cold on Saturday. Crap!

Has anyone ever played the golf course that is right on Lanier? I played one time and it is awesome to see the boats sitting in Cocktail cove while you play. I remember thinking, "I REALLY hope I don't hook a ball into the lake and hit someone's boat"!!

Eric,

I have played the coarse several times, and I don't ever play. I like it because I stink and everyone I play ends up in the water, I like to call it the great equalizer!
