Life jackets

After reading, thrown out of a boat, got me thinking, I need a couple of good life jackets. I know Lifeline are the best ,but just need a good jacket to run and play in. Any suggestions from you poker runners,or racers.

I like the "Mustang" types as they are very efficient and non abtrusive like the life jackets from days gone by.

You can get the Mustangs in "auto-inflate" which has a water sensor that goes off when you fall in, or just an ordinary inflate cannister that is deployed manually with a drawstring.

Great jackets... I have four of them.

Those are probably the most convenient/comfortable ones overall, but they are only good for slow speed incidents. They tear easily, and don't have any way of staying on your body properly if you go in sideways, or some other un-natural position.

If you're not going to get Lifelines, which you can buy used from people for better pricing, I'd make sure to get some that have the leg straps. There are other brands out there that have this feature, and aren't as costly as lifelines.

I use lifeline poker run jackets most of time when on plane.
I've had them for three years.....Can't beat them for safety & comfort. Leg straps are a must.
