Info Needed, seller wont return any calls or E-mails
Start: I purchased a 26' boat that I saw a person selling on E-bay. I contacted the seller and he agreed to sell it to me outright. I received quite a bit of info about the boat, most of which was over exagerated, but I knew this when he was saying it.
Delivery: He brings me the boat when its raining (not his fault) So we make a short run, all seems well, so I hand him cash money and take delivery of the boat. He says if I have any questions, just call him. I have tried calling, E-mailing and IMing him to no avail. I have general questions about the engine like how many quarts of oil, max RPM's, plug gap, etc. BTW, its a 572 with a 10-71 blower on it. I have never owned a blower motor before, so I was looking forward to the things not to do vice what I could do with my previous 496HO or procharged 502. I would even appreciate the engine builders info so I can ask him, then I wouldn't have to deal with the previous owner.
The questions I have are simple:
Quarts of oil?
Plug #?
Plug gap?
Impeller part #?
Drive internals, are they really Max Machine Worx?
Max rpm's?
How do you set the MSD rev limiter?
What is the part # for the leaking exhaust riser gasket?
How many ACTUAL hours does the motor have?
Now that I am done with that, I am glad to be back on OSO and look forward to all you local guys (Hampton Roads Powerboat Association) and of course the next OSO winter chill out in Richmond, VA. I have have only missed one and that was this years.
Thank You for reading my post. If I have posted this in the wrong section, please advise.

IMO, this guy is effraid by your call. he probably hopes the engine has not blown, or he does not want to hear about anything... as long the boat runs fine, forget about him and find some answers here!

I seriously just have simple questions about the engine, if he would just call me back I would be fine. He has the money, I just want simple questions answered like he said he would answer.

Hey Dude i was wacked by are car on the highway. I went out for a ride last night with it. anyway i have your other questions i will be emailing back that set. Just as an FYI to everyone I drove down from MA to drop the boat off as a fuel cost only and happy to do it for him. As for the engine and drive its al there. Ask anyone who knows me on the board. As he said he even know it was a 26 hull 280 new style velocity so he even before dropped it off was aware. I bought it from VA where was delivered as a 280. In mass only fiberglass is measured so considered a 26. I have seen these boats listed as the 28. ANy who it will be emailed as said. Sorry health more priority then you
