I had several customer with their boats. I was told they are a knock off of a 26 American Offshore. Put it next to one and it looked identical. Unfortunetly, they were not built as good. They weren't a bad deal for the money, but they would not take a bunch of abuse in rough water. We had to basically put the first 10' of the sponsons back on one. They were starting to seperate from the boat. Last I heard they were having financial trouble but were still in business.

I know I'm late here but I know Jim personally. One of my dads real good friends. He no longer makes boats. He let somebody borrow his mold and it got burnt. But he is still there.

Jimmy built a lot of Youngblood TX19 jet boats back in the late 70s and early 80s. I had one good boat at the time. He used to be one crazy mofo!!

so mr. okie, mr. youngblood and mr. vette 131. I think your comments are ridiculous as nothing they built was a knock off because they built those boats from the ground up with their hands and the custom paint designs are insanely epic, id would like to see yall do that with just your ideas, no computers, and a paint booth by urself. . .and im not sure who told you they weren't built as good but one persons word doesn't make it a million peoples words. . . as for your glass work I doubt anybody could do it any better
