Re: Garmin 376C with XM WX?
I have not seen that one. I did a lot of searching before I bought my 492C garmin. The best price that I found was from tigergps.com. I took the add with me to west marine and they matched it. I had rather buy from someone I know.

I have that model. I don't know about the XM capability though. If it has it I haven't used it. As far as the unit is concerned I like it very much. Very easy to use.

I have the 276c and the 3010c. I have the xm and weather(only on the 3010c) and have been using it for about 18 months now. When I first signed up, I had plans to only use it during the summer and then sign up again in the spring. I have not turned it off. I think it is great!

Re: Garmin 376C with XM WX?
Lots of new marine nav coming from garmin. I just got a email blast at work of like 10 new marine units just released for 07. The screen is kinda small on the one you mentioned here , just my feeling. I like the largest screen I can afford. The weather feature is hot.

Well would you look at that, did a search on Garmin units and found myself 2 1/2 years ago talkng about this thing...anyway.
I bought the 378C with the GXM-30 WX ant. and plan on using it with the Master Mariner subscription.
Has anyone used a Garmin with the BlueChart and or g2 data cards?
Any concerns or comments?

I had the older 176C model and when it died about 5 months ago got the 376C. The screen is active screen as compared to older model and I really like it. As stated above, sorta small, but is largest screen that would fit on dash nicely. Garmin GPS are best, easyiest to use IMO. I can't comment on the XM weather, other then I have seen it at boat shows and is pretty cool. But I don't do enough offshore stuff to justify the monthly costs. 99.99% of the time I am inside and can run away and hide from storms in the summer. I actually found mine for a good deal from amazon.com believe or not they beat other GPS specific sites.
