Seats for OPA P6???????????

what are the required seats for an open cockpit P6 boat??? are standard stand up bolsters ok??? do you guys reccomend stand up or sit down for a 24footer in P6???? thanx Chris

I believe it is in the rule book as "stirdy racing seats". I would want stand up bolsters with ample padding all around. Make sure your mounts thru bolted with a significant blacking plate.

Personally I would let the style of the boat dictate the style of seats. For example I could never run the old magnums with the freeboard at waist height. Anything that low i would want sit-down bolsters.

lol nope still havent found my boat yet i agree as i had a 24 magnum with bolsters and a 22 avanti with bolsters and was definetely too low of a deck for bolsters. just was wondering if any kind of stand up bolsters are allowed???
