Keikhafer race trim pumps - What fuse?

I'm rewiring a boat with the race pumps (sealed reservoirs), and need to know what size fuse/breaker to use for the main power feed (not the solenoid trigger circuit). I can't seem to get anything to turn up in online searches, and I'm pretty sure I don't want to run a 10 or 12 gauge wire without any circuit protection.....

They need a 50 amp fuse minimum. The Bravo style pumps have a resetting 50 amp breaker on them.

BUSS makes a good marine grade resettable breaker.

www.jeffsfireworks.com has Canon fuse. $1.00 (20 feet). :p

Whoops! I got impatient and ordered a 40 amp breaker for the master feed, and 30 amp re-set breakers for each pump. Am I screwed?

Sounds like 10 gauge wire is the appropriate size, though!

The control circuit power feed had 10 amp fuses. Does that sound right?

That pump will pull 100 amps peak. Spec is 70 amps @ 3500 PSI. I normally run #6 or (#4 if I am feeding all the pumps in common), and if you were to run 2 drives and 2 tabs at the same time even that is marginal but OK as they are not against the regulators (full pressure). The pump on a stock engine comes with #8.
