Default Eureka !!!! Wellcraft Came Thru Finally

I have to share this with you guys, Finally someone at Genmar which is Wellcraft in Michigan, found out my long awaited answer: What drive and props was originally on my boat before the theft

2001 Wellcraft Excalibur 23
engine : 7.4L MPI 310HP
Weight : 3800 pounds
Drive : B3
Ratio: 2:1
Props pitch 25 !!!!!!!

Now .... My GPS speed is 55-57 mph at 4300 RPM
My holeshot is terrific with that setup so I can afford to loose a bit to get more top end

my max RPM is 4680,

That's all I have

So what are you suggestion for prop size?

Bravo 3 lab finish?
25 cupped?
26 or more?

Thanks guys

Ya gotta go the other way to get more RPM, probably a set of 23's.

uh- I hate to be the one to tell you this but the standard B3 props come in even pitch sizes. Of course it is possible they were custom.

Actually now that I run your numbers that is not possible, are you sure you have a Bravo 3?

The numbers work with a Bravo 1 & a 23" at that speed. Most of those boats came with a 1.5 B1.
