Calling Alabama Boaters

Anyone out there familiar with the Montgomery, AL area? Looking for a launch ramp on Bob Woodruff Lake (Alabama River Lake) We are looking for a place to test a boat in that area. If we can't find water to put the boat in, we would at least like to hook up to a water source to run the engines. Know of any marinas in the area? Got any other ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

I could help you with the Gulf Coast area, but not North.

There are several public launches on the river around Montgomery. Also Lake Martin nearby with several Marinas. Gene's Marine in Montgomery would have more knowledge, ask for Kim. I'll get a phone # later today.BTW,NickSlick,we do have boats in Alabama, actually 12,but 9 of them are 90 MPH bassboats,LOL.

A friend of mine also needs info about the Montgomery area. He's meeting the seller of a boat he's buying and neither of them are from that area. They want to at least hook up the flushers or maybe launch it for a short test run.
Post here or e-mail my friend directly - [email protected].
