Probably best to drive to Halcombes Landing by car.

Is there even going to be anywhere where you can watch the racing from shore? I can't think of anywhere in that area where you could watch the race from.

We'll use the far side of the dam for parking and shuttle people into Race Village. Should be plenty of parking.

From Halcombs Landing you can see about half of the race course. Too bad you can't walk out on the dam. That would be the best place to watch. By boat, you'll be less than 100 yards off the course. As a volunteer patrol boat, you'll be even closer and more involved with the event.

If you want the best seat in the house, sign up here. We need about 20 more volunteer boats for spectator control.
