Default Switzer 240ss value

I have read all the posts on the switzer boats. I have looked at the one i plan on buying. I am trying to figure out what kind price would be good for boat.
1990 The boat is supposed to be a 25 foot, Has the molded fiberglass swim platform. Really nice tandem trailer, surge brakes
Engine overhauled 4 seasones ago. 454 runs mint
updated gauges, power hatch, new cover
upper and lower drive done two seasons ago
Solid floors, transom, and stringers, no blisters, not even bottom paint, never left in water. Interior is in good shape for the year. Only downfall is the gell coat looks like its 19 years old. I can e-mail a picture to anyone who might want to help me out. or i can picture message a cell phone. If i get any input i would like to buy it within a few days.

If this is the one in Syracuse NY, it looks good in the pictures! I think it was listed for 10,000 once before. Good luck.

Why do want to buy so quickly? How bad does the owner need to sell it? No way could anyone finance it. Value is too low and the boat is too old. Cash talks. Offer him what it's worth to you minus $1500. If he says no, check back in a month or so.
