I just bought 2 sets off ebay for $125/set with $35 shipping for both. They are really nice covers. Try this link--if it doesn't work go to ebay do a search for marine valve covers and they will come up. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BIG-B...Q5fAccessories Send him a message and tell him what you want. He will send you a paypal invoice outside ebay and be done with it. I got mine today and they are bad a$$.

I bought 2 sets of the same ones and they worked and fit great. However I was stupid and forgot to wax them real good and while dialing the boat in with the engine hatches open the salt spray did a number on the finish. Maybe a clear coat? Their cheap enough that I'm gonna pick up 2 more sets.

Exactly what I was thinking

copiercat 04-15-2009 05:12 AM

is there a knock out plug area for better breathers ?

Ptufaro 04-15-2009 09:27 AM

I have two pair polished I will post some pics later. The are usedand i did drill holes in all four for breathers.

They are hard to keep looking nice, I would think painting or anodizing them would be the way to go.

I have three sets of Eddie Marine covers w/ breathers powdercoated red for $100.00 a pair.

Are u still looking for two pairs of vc's? If so, and you want a pair of Teague (actually IMCO) polished alum valve covers with tall breathers, that is what I have. Both where sent to my polisher for a final buffing, then I applied Zoops sealant to preserve the nice polished finish. One pair has new been on a motor. One only has dyno time. Includes all hardware.
Teague------$ 248.00 pair Sell------$ 200.00 pair

Why pay $125.00 when you can get these with the tall breathers, ultra polished and Zoop sealed.

I have the IMCOs, they are great. They look awesome and are extremely easy to keep looking new.
