what GPS setup do you have on the Nortech? are you using an in hull transducer or thru hull if any?

Hi Chris. Nor Tech has the Garmin 5012 touchscreen. Love it. They also make an 8 inch touchscreen ( 4008 I think ) which takes less room. I put 8" in the Donzi so charts would be compatible.
The sonar is the type that looks thu the hull so no hole. Works real good even in the soft sands bottoms of SW Florida. If you are interested I can go into my files and get the model no. etc. I'm sure it is a Garmin product as well.

bob,

that would be awesome because i ended up getting the 5215 and i cant figure out the transducer. i called garmin but they put me on hold for like 45 min so i just hung up after a while. pain in the butt. also im trying to figure out how to mount this thing cause its huge. do you know if the in hull transducer will shot through anykind of hull?

You need the GSD 22 interface box and a smart transducer with NMEA output.
I like the Airmar shoot thru the hull. If you have a step bottom it has to be in front of them.
